(Southcoast, MA – February 15, 2022) – Back for its third year, SouthCoast Spring Arts Week is calling for artists, creatives, individuals and organizations to submit their cultural event for inclusion on the festival’s website calendar. Taking place May 5th through 14th, this 10-day festival celebrates the arts in our communities by connecting innovative, creative, and affordable art and cultural events across the Southcoast region, from Fall River to Wareham.
Originally launched in May 2021, the inspiration for this collaborative undertaking was to continue in the spirit of ArtWeek MA, a statewide creative festival for all, presented by Highland Street Foundation and produced by the Boch Center. Since then, thousands of residents and visitors have enjoyed events encompassing a variety of accessible experiences from historic walking tours to plein air painting and exhibitions to oyster tastings.
All arts and cultural institutions, individual artists, nonprofits, galleries, schools and more can participate in Art Week. To participate and submit your event email southcoastspringarts@gmail.com or go to southcoastspringarts.org. The final deadline to submit your event is March 31, 2023. All events will be featured on our website and social media pages.
For businesses and patrons who are interested in financially supporting this effort for arts, culture and collaboration across the South Coast, sponsorships are available. Contact Patti Rego at prego@onesouthcoast.com for sponsorship.
