The Fall River Arts & Culture Coalition (FRACC) is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural mural mini-grants program, FRACC Murals. This exciting initiative aims to bring captivating public art to Fall River, empowering local artists and organizations to showcase their creativity while enriching our city's cultural landscape.
FRACC Murals is an opportunity for Fall River's non-profit organizations, community groups, and public organizations to apply for a mini-grant and collaborate on the creation of remarkable murals in 2023. Two mini-grants of $5,000 each will be awarded to support the selected projects.
The application period for FRACC Murals begins on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, and ends on Wednesday, July 14, 2023, at 11:59 PM. Interested organizations are encouraged to visit our website [thefracc.org/murals] to access the application form and read the complete guidelines and eligibility criteria.
Through this program, FRACC aims to realize the strategies outlined in the Arts & Culture Creative Economy Plan, which focuses on leveraging the power of arts and culture to drive tourism and economic growth in Fall River. The FRACC Murals mini-grants will contribute to the creation of publicly accessible art across the city, fostering long-term support and infrastructure for arts, culture, and the creative economy.
