The Fall River Arts & Culture Coalition (FRACC) has announced a culminating reception for the South Coast Creative Arts Lab, and invites the public to a reception celebrating the end of the session of our 7-8th grade out of school time program that teaches visual art and music. The program was created to provide students with an opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills.
Please join the students and staff from the Arts Lab as they showcase their talents and skills gleaned from their first semester as a part of this brand-new program.
The reception will take place on Tuesday, May 16th from 4:00-5:30 PM, doors open at 4:00 PM and the reception will begin at 4:15 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the artwork created by the students during the program and enjoy live musical performances by the participants. Light refreshments will also be provided.
"We are proud of the hard work and dedication our students have put into this program," said Ashley Occhino, Executive Director of FRACC. "This program has not only allowed students to explore their creativity, but it has also helped them develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving." These talented students are a group of teacher-nominated 7th and 8th graders from the Fall River Public School District that were recommended based on their aptitude, attitude, and dedication for the arts.Their support has allowed us to provide a quality program to the students in our community.
